KUAN 館
An Android workout tracker for people who lift and also train a martial art.
KUAN is an Android workout tracker for people who lift and also train a martial art. Gym sessions, runs, bag rounds and form practice share one log, and the look is ink and paper: an OLED-black page with Chinese characters as its signposts.
A progression engine writes the next session’s prescription from your history: estimated one-rep-max trends, double progression for hypertrophy work, strength and power schemes, deloads after repeated stalls, and a plain-language reason for every number it gives you.
The Hall treats traditional forms as data. Chen-style tai chi, Yang 37, Wing Chun and Xiao Hong Quan are broken into their named moves, so you log how far through a form you got, and a round timer calls boxing and Muay Thai combinations aloud.
Your data stays on the phone: raw SQLite with additive migrations, full export and import, and optional backups to a folder you choose. It’s Kotlin and Jetpack Compose with no navigation library, one view model and an overlay back stack, and the engine is covered by JVM unit tests.
