Thought Capture
Private voice capture: speak, and it’s transcribed on your own machine.
A small browser page records your voice and transcribes it on your own machine with whisper.cpp and the large-v3-turbo model, so no audio ever leaves the computer. One launcher starts the speech server with the page as its root.
Alongside it is an Android app with a home-screen widget: tap once to start dictating, and each thing you say is appended to a plain text file in a folder you choose. A synced folder works well, and the app never talks to a server.
Around the capture sits a small organiser on plain files: tasks in a todo.txt-style file with contexts, projects and due dates, projects as Markdown, and work, focus, low-energy and review modes.
